Underlayment

We offer our Geo-Cushion Pond Liner Underlayment in both pre-cut sizes and by the roll - see below for more details.

Geo-Cushion is an 1/8" thick (approximate) pad that is placed on the ground before your pond liner is installed. It acts as a barrier to protect your pond liner against punctures from rough surfaces on the ground (rocks, dirt clods, sticks, etc.) NOTE: You should make every effort to prepare the ground to reduce/eliminate all sharp objects before installing any pond liner (with or without the use of an underlayment).

If you are ordering a roll, please note that each lineal foot contains 15 square feet.

IMPORTANT: BE SURE TO INCLUDE AT LEAST 20% EXTRA CUSHION TO THE SIZE OF YOUR LINER.

To assist you in finding the proper amount to order for a size not listed please refer to the following SIZE DETERMINATION EXAMPLE:

Step 1)  A 15'X18' pond liner is 270 square feet.
Step 2)  Add 20% to that amount (multiply by 1.2) making it 324 square feet of cushion needed
Step 3)  Divide the 324 square feet amount by 15 (square feet per lineal foot) making 21.6 lineal feet
Step 4)  Round up to the next whole foot for a total of 22 lineal feet of cushion needed
